Core Classes
Core classes are our foundational classes. You’ll learn the visual storytelling principles that you need to direct with intention, and the compositional techniques that are radically necessary to create masterful feature films. Why they don't teach this in film school, we don't know.
Signature Courses
Signatures are special topic-based classes that cover basic (but less essential) ideas. They're here to expand your portfolio of filmmaking skills and build out your personal, signature style. This includes our radically original Composition for Genre series.
Intensives
Intensives are thorough, detailed courses on one specific concept. They are meant to build out your understanding of filmmaking and level you up from competent director to master auteur. This includes our fan-favorite Composition for Editing, which has the world's best explanation of the 180 Rule (or so we've been told).
Genre Series
Genre classes are a special series that recur every month, exploring the core tenants that make each genre work so filmmakers can codify their genre films so they don't fall flat, or use the same fundamentals to pull those moods and themes out of cross-genre films.
